Good but it could be much better

    PROS:

    Good compact design.

    Good maneuvering ability.

    Can go fairly fast.

    Low to the ground.

    Good for exercising.

    CONS:

One high gear is designed mainly for fairly flat surfaces and going up any incline relies on strong legwork.

The reverse action pedal braking system requires a degree of ambidexterity.

You can be caught in the top of a forward pedaling motion and needing to suddenly brake.

    IMPROVEMENTS:

A 2nd gear for riding up inclines.

    A Handbrake system.

A cambered bike type handle bar.

    CONCLUSION:

A great fun ride and a way to exercise at the same time.

This may not suit everyone because it does require a bit of agility to hop on and off and a bit of strength to hold yourself up while riding without a seat.

    Hi Weeg,

Thank you for your feedback! Awesome to read through your PROS & CONS list.

It sounds like you are enjoying the Pedalflow overall, which is awesome. Yes you're right, we do think of it as a fitness machine to ride readily on the flat (hence the one gear), a bike without a seat!

I will definitely be passing on your feedback to our Micro Design Team :)

Let me know if I can be of any further help!

    Kind regards, Hannah

    Micro Scooters Australia

    Hi Anmol,

Thank you for your response to our recent email.

The Pedal Flow is a quite like an exercise machine so it is a bit of a work out to ride and definitely takes a bit of getting used to.

Since it is effectively a bike without a seat - it can take a while to perfect and gain the adequate balance to get into the flow of it. Practise makes perfect on this front - so do try to get out of it as much as you can. Moreover, it does only have a singular gear so it can be a little tricky to ride hills or steeper inclines which will require a bit more effort.

For context we have received 5 reviews saying that the Pedal Flow suggesting it is a great product however can be a work out! "My husband and love it and planning to purchase again. It's a bit tiring in going uphill but very good for exercising. Is also cool and easy to use."

However if you are unhappy with the product - please get in touch and we can discuss next steps.

    Kind regards, Hannah

    A great mobile exercise machine.

Great machine, more a great mobile exercise machine. Only good for short rides due to large/set gearing.

Would be much better if you added an electric hub to the rear wheel to support the large gear and replaced the pedal brake with free wheeling pedals and a hand brake.

I see great potential for this machine with theses changes.

Like other places around the world, where I live, electric bikes are OK but electric scooters are restricted. As it has pedals this machine could be considered an electric assisted bike, and with the suggested changes, fill a niche.

    Many thanks

    Alan
