Lasted only 17 months for daily commute
Overall I'm quite disappointed. I bought this scooter for my daily commute which is 6km across pavement and designated asphalt bike paths. After 7 months I had to retighten all the bolts on the front block as they had come loose. By 9 months the two front bolts at the base of the block were coming loose frequently and I lost one during a commute. By 12 months the nut holding the folding pin was coming loose frequently and required daily tightening or the latch would fall loose during a commute. At this time the hex folding nuts were starting to become difficult to push and scooter wouldn't fold easily. Now at 17 months the brake plate has snapped off during my commute and the left hex nut detached.
I've never had a scooter require so much maintenance to upkeep it and prevent it's total collapse within two years. My globber one NL 205 lasted twice as long with much less upkeep than this over rougher terrain (at the time there was a 400m gravel patch it was riding through on the commute).
Outside of the underwhelming build quality there also seems to be some general quality of life improvements that seem obvious but weren't implemented in the design.
The gap between the two holding plates over the front block allow water to be kicked up by the front wheel straight into your legs. This happens when riding on slightly wet pavement. I had to just run a piece of sticky tape between the gap to avoid getting the front of my legs absolutely soaked every ride I made after damp…

Micro Scooters Australia
Hi Nathan, thanks for your feedback and we're sorry to hear that you're disappointed by the Suspension. Scooters do require regular maintenance to ensure their longevity and performance, especially with daily use. We recommend tightening the scooter's bolts and components on a monthly basis to prevent issues like the ones you experienced.
It's great to hear that you enjoyed the wheels, board, and adjustable t-bar. We also appreciate your feedback about water being kicked up through the gap over the front block, we’ll pass this along to our product design team.
We'd be happy to assist with replacing the brake plate and any necessary hardware to get your scooter back on the road. Just flick us an email at info@microscooters.com.au.
