How to Build Your DIY Sprite

The DIY Sprite is the first Micro scooter that young riders can build themselves (with the help of their favourite adult). It comes with eleven different parts to assemble with an Allen key included.  The Micro DIY Sprite is Swiss designed with every micro detail in mind so that quality is ensured even when built by a pair of little hands (under adult supervision, of course).

On this page you'll find an easy-to-follow instruction video and step by step guide for this fun project.
You can also download these instructions or print from this pdf.

  • Tighten the screw at the back of the clamp fully and when opening the clamp lever ensure that there is some resistance
  • If the lever is too loose when opening and closing, tighten the allen screw on the side of the clamp to resolve this

  • Place the lower clamp at the base of the lower tube
  • Place both the0020lower clamp and lower T tube over the head of the steering fork so that it sits inside of the Lower tube
  • Ensure the lower tube is pushed down all the way

  • Align the front wheel so that it is perpendicular to the handle bars (extend the handle bars fully for best perspective)
  • Once aligned, tighten the allen screws on the lower clamp
  • Ensure that you give a couple of turns on one screw, then a couple of turns on the other and alternate back and forth between each screw until both are fully tightened

Your scooter should now be complete and ready to use!

We always recommend regular servicing and maintenance of our scooters to ensure that
all of the bolts and axles are fully tightened as they can on occasion come loose with use.
